![]() ![]() Once again, I challenge you to a top 5 at least. Billy Squier Lonely Is the Night (1981) Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band. It doesn't help that the male singer is trying to sound like Creedence Clearwater Revival and failing. Los Santos Rock Radio hostuje Kenny Loggins i pusta Classic Rock. Remember how I said I hated grunge? This basically IS grunge. "Bass! Bass! Bass, Bass, Bass!" Can someone give me noise-cancelling headphones please? This song knocked Glamorous off my hate list because compared to Applause, Glamorous is listenable. ![]() I'm surprised Trevor didn't whip this song out for Ferdinand. You could use this song as musical torture. This song warrants an immediate station change from me. I'd rather listen to the Backstreet Boys song on the station. I change the station every time it comes on. Gritting my teeth as I type this just thinking about the sissy vocals and the weird 8-bit synth that makes this song sound like it belongs on Mirror Park, which it does. I hate having to go into Ponsonby's and listen to this nonsense while picking out stuff. The singer said she wanted to sound like Curtis Mayfield. To any British readers, I know this song was popular over there (and didn't chart here in the US at all) but does anyone regard this song as being good? I can't stand grunge at all and this song reminds me of proto-grunge. To be honest, this song is nearly unlistenable. Sorry to anyone who likes it but this song is proof to me that not all 80s songs are good. As a friend of mine even said, it's "terrible". Ironic title because there is no pleasure to be found in this ear-grating "music" (and it's this low on the list because this one isn't music, just noise). They sound like they were written by a five-year-old. I am the toughest, toughest, toughest." Wow, such thought-provoking lyrics. I started to laugh the first time I heard this song. If I want to hear spoken word done right I'll listen to the Doors. Maybe in the 70s "talk-rock" made sense but it just feels disjointed today. I've tried to like this song many times but no matter what I just can't stand this dull, babbling, acoustic soft rock ballad. The real station-changing songs of the game. ![]() I'll go ahead and challenge anyone who reads this to post their top 5 (five is easier and quicker than ten) most hated/worst songs. ![]()
